Countertop Installation Guide: Step-by-Step Instructions for a Smooth and Successful Installation Process.

Quotes

  1. All quotes are based on preliminary drawings and measurements. Final pricing may be adjusted following on-site field verification.

  2. All quotes are subject to material availability at the time of order.

  3. Oversized or difficult-to-handle stone pieces exceeding 96" (L) x 48" (W) x 3 cm may require additional labor and will incur additional charges.

  4. Electrical outlet cutouts, 4-inch backsplashes, and sink or cooktop cutouts are not included in the base price and will be billed as additional services.

  5. Removal of existing countertops is not included in the square-foot pricing of stone. Tear-out services will be charged separately, with fees ranging from $250.00 to $1,000.00, depending on the template requirements and the type of existing countertop.

Before and After Template

  1. All cabinets must be fully installed and secured in their permanent positions prior to the template appointment.

  2. Farm sink installation is the responsibility of the homeowner or builder and must be completed before the template appointment.

  3. All items must be removed from the countertops prior to the template appointment.

  4. We strongly recommend that the homeowner or contractor be present during the template appointment to address any questions or concerns regarding the installation process.

  5. Customers are encouraged to personally select and approve all natural stone slabs prior to fabrication. Each slab must be approved in person by the homeowner or builder to ensure suitability for the project. Please note that natural stone may exhibit natural variations in color, pattern, and geological characteristics.

  6. Our company is not licensed to perform plumbing or electrical work. All related plumbing and electrical preparations must be completed prior to countertop installation.

  7. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements may result in a return visit fee and a rescheduled installation date.

Countertop Installation

  1. The installation crew must have clear and adequate access to the property to safely unload materials and complete the installation properly.

  2. Prior to installation, all items must be removed from beneath the sink area to allow proper mounting of undermount sinks.

  3. We color-match caulking between stone surfaces only. We do not apply caulking between stone and walls. Our installation crew uses non-paintable caulking. Any caulking required on back walls is the responsibility of the homeowner or contractor.

  4. We install undermount sinks only. Installation of drop-in sinks is the responsibility of the homeowner or builder. All undermount kitchen sinks will be mounted using our sink hanger hardware. Undermount vanity sinks will be mounted using our L-bracket and anchored clip system.

  5. Our installation crew is available to answer any questions before and after the installation process.

  6. For safety reasons, we ask that customers and contractors maintain a safe distance from the work area while installation is in progress. The crew handles heavy stone materials, and restricted access helps prevent accidents.

  7. Full countertop payment must be received 4–5 business days prior to the scheduled installation date. Failure to submit payment on time may result in postponement of the installation.
